BRUMFIELD, DARLENE 

Darlene Brumfield, 48, a native and resident of Covington, passed away June 18, 
2011. 

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Brumfield of Covington; daughter, Octavis 
Bedford of Covington; sisters, Viola Hackett of Covington and Tambrey Taylor of 
Independence and brother Otis Brumfield of Covington. She was preceded in death 
by her father, Oliver Brumfield.

Family and friends are invited to the funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
the Starlight Baptist Church, 521 W. 28th St., Covington, with the Rev. Mallery 
Callahan officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Friday at the 
Richardson Funeral Home, 20207 Highway 36, Covington. 
Interment will be in Wilson Cemetery.
