John H. Dawson, 66, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011. 

He was the beloved father of Brett Dawson and spouse Kathleen, Bridgett Dawson 
and Brooks Dawson and spouse Jennifer; grandfather of Andrew, Katelyn and 
Adriana and brother of Kenton Dawson. 

He was a native of Jacksonville, Ill., a former resident of Metairie, and a 
resident of Covington for the past 5 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service 
at 3 p.m. Saturday June 18, 2011 from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 
21st. Ave., Covington. 
Visitation is from 2 p.m. until service time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to prison ministries or a 
charity of your choice.
