RICHARD B. DYER, SR., of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 
Ochsner Northshore Regional Hospital in Slidell, LA.

Devoted husband of Carmen Riedel Dyer for 70 years.
Father of Richard B. Dyer, Jr. and his wife Diane Petersen Dyer.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren; Deserae Dyer Mall, Dawn Dyer Castaneda, 
Christopher Dyer, and 8 great grandchildren; Preston Aaron and Angelle Mall, 
Alain, Derek and Alicia Castaneda and Joseph and Savanna Dyer.

Age 87 years, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 1969, Mr. 
Dyer served his country in the US Army during WWII.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am until 
11:00am. 
Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie, LA.
