JOHNSON, MATTHEW VICTOR 

Matthew Victor Johnson, age 47, of Chalmette, passed away at his residence June 
3, 2011. Matthew was born in New Orleans, was a resident of Chalmette for 
fourteen years, and was a Catholic.

He is survived by one brother, Neil (Charlene) Johnson of Pearl River; one 
sister, Eileen (Mike) Hughes of Germantown, Tenn.; two nephews Joshua (Lindsay) 
Hughes and Noah Johnson; three nieces, Rachel Hughes, Brittany Turner and Meghan 
Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rodney Johnson and Lois Poussard 
Johnson.

A memorial gathering was held yesterday at Schaeffer's Restaurant on Robert Road 
in Slidell.
