She was loving wife of the late Richard Nettle and loyal daughter to the late Elizabeth Juliet Grussantet Wise and Edward Wise. Joyce was a native of New Orleans and a 30-year resident of Slidell. She was the cherished sister of the late Faye Jeffries, the late Joan Gussion and big sister to Robert Wise. She was a beloved mother to Kenneth and Cynthia Germain, Lisa Favre, and Richard and Linda Nettle. Joyce was the dearest friend to Peggy Germain and Patrick Connelly, whom we are all grateful for. Joyce Nettle was a retired federal government employee having spent many successful years as a judicator for the Veterans Administration. She also served our country overseas with her U.S. Army career husband Richard Nettle. Joyce is forever remembered by grandchildren, Jasmine E. Connelly, Sawyer Favre, Kristian and Parker Germaine, Robert and Charles Nettle, Keith-Cory-Lori and Kevin Whatly. Joyce is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She is the grandmother of nine, the great-grandmother of 18 and the great-great-grandmother of six. We have all been blessed to have even passed through your shadow. We will see you again Mama Joyce, We love you. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. ===================
