Thelma Burrus Oubre, 91, passed away Tuesday June 21, 2011. 

She was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Anthony J Oubre Sr. 

She was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell since 1976, before 
retiring from Ingram Corporation, and then pursuing a second career with Stan 
Weber selling real estate. 

Thelma was the loving mother of, daughter, Jeannine C Heroy, and sons Norman A 
Oubre, Anthony J Oubre Jr. and the late Michael L Oubre. She is also survived by 
10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be scheduled at a later date with interment in Lake 
Lawn Metairie Cemetery, allowing family members and friends the opportunity to 
make reasonable travel arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the S. P. C. A. or Humane Society in 
the name of Thelma B Oubre
