A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA. Beloved wife of Arthur Henri Roos. Loving mother of Marion Roos Heatherman and husband Jim Heatherman, Ronald R. Roos and wife Connie Roos, Quentin R. Roos and wife Brigett Roos, Margaret Roos Williams and husband Rodney Williams, Patty Roos Pellerin and husband Rodney L. Pellerin and the late Kathy Roos. Daughter of the late Vera von Meysenbug and John P. O'Leary. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and preceded in death by her husband and granddaughter, Jordan Rene Pellerin. Sheila was a graduate of Newcomb College and received her Master's degree at the University of Maryland. She raised her family in Silver Spring, Maryland, and served for many years as the head of the library at the Naval Ordinance Laboratory located there. Sheila had a wonderful sense of humor and a love for political debate. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane de Chantal, 72040 Maple Street, Abita Springs, LA on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Visitation at church from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be held in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. ===================
