JOAN MARIE ANDERSON WELCH, of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 
June 21, 2011 at her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of David Welch.
Loving mother of Courtney Schmalz and Eden Welch.
Daughter of the late Clarence and Reba Anderson.
Sister of the late Leroy Anderson.
Also survived by 2 grandchildren; Taylor Welch and Madison Knox and her canine 
companions; Sammi, Charlie and Scooter.

Age 67 years; a native of Chattanooga, TN and a resident of Slidell since 1983.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a graveside service at 
BILOXI NATIONAL CEMETERY, Biloxi, MS on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:00am. 
Interment will follow. 

Donations to: The Epworth Project, 361 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA 70458 is 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
