Charles Francis Cancalosi, of Slidell, passed away Wednesday, July20, 2011.

He was the loving husband of Anne Swinko Cancalosi of 62 years; the
loving father of John Joseph Cancalosi and Patricia Anne Costantino and brother 
of Joseph Cancalosi and the late Andrew Cancalosi. He is also survived by 
grandson, Nicholas, 15 years old.

Charles was a devoted family man that gave his all to them. He worked for Martin 
Marietta for 48 years. Charles brought his family to Louisiana from Denver, 
Colo., to start the External Tank program for the space shuttle program, and his 
life ended with its final mission.

May Charles Cancalosi be at peace in mind and spirit.

The services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider doing something for the Alzheimer's 
Association to help fight this terrible disease.
