JOHN W. CONRAVEY, JR., of Pearl River, LA, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 
at his home.

Beloved husband of Lois D. Conravey for the past 57 years. Father of Steve E. 
Conravey (Carolyn) and the late John W. Conravey, III. Son of the late John W., 
Sr. and Ruth H. Conravey. Brother of June Kissgen and the late Earl Conravey and 
Ruth Pousson.
Also survived by 3 grandchildren; Catlin, Megan and Douglas Conravey.

Age 84 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Pearl River since 1976. 

Mr. Conravey served his country in the US Navy during WWII and retired as a 
Firefighter from the New Orleans Fire Dept. in 1983.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am 
until 11:00am. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Donations to the Pearl River Senior Center, 39443 Hwy. 41 Spur, Pearl River, LA 
70452 are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
