Beloved husband of Phyllis Fortenberry Easley. Loving father of Ashley Easley Moschella and her husband Tony; Amanda Easley Miller and her husband Alex; and Derek Brandon Easley. Cherished grandfather, affectionately known as "Gramps", to Dean, Colin, Ava, and Carter Moschella; Gabriel Miller; and Darren and Jase Easley. Brother of Bill Easley, Ronnie Easley, Sandra Doolittle, and Cheryl Hendrix. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Merle Easley. He was a native of Vardaman, MS; a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the last 4 years; and a former resident of the New Orleans area for 37 years. Don graduated from Mississippi State University in 1970, with a degree in Civil Engineering, and worked at Texaco, Inc. for 1 year before joining Petro-Marine Engineering, Inc. as a structural engineer in 1972. In 1996, after Don and several partners purchased Petro-Marine from its founders, he became President and Chairman of the Board, until his retirement in 2003. He was very well respected in the oil and gas industry, known for his easygoing, levelheaded personality. He loved fishing, hunting, and golfing, and was an avid fan of the Mississippi State Bulldogs. His kind, gentle spirit will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Pryor Funeral Home, 127 Main St., Calhoun City, MS 38916, on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment in Reedy's Chapel Cemetery, Vardaman, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the ALS Association. ===================
