ANTHONY "INKY" J. ENGOLIA, JR., of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully 
surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 17, 2011.

Beloved husband of Joan Schwankhart Engolia after 56 years of marriage.
Father of Terre Duffy (Phil), Deborah Brodtmann (Charles), Anthony Engolia, III 
(Kelly), Nicholas Engolia (Angela), Lance Engolia (Katie) and Kathleen Engolia 
Sturcken.
Son of the late Anthony J., Sr. and Agnes Engolia.
Brother of Louis and Frank Engolia and Marilyn Alcorn and Theresa Engolia. 
Brother-in-law of Eugene Schwankhart (Tina), Anthony Schwankhart and Joy Dupre 
(Eugene).
Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 step-great 
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 77 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 1987. 

Mr. Engolia retired from the New Orleans Fire Dept. and coached many years for 
NORD and SYFA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 1:00pm. 
Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Donations to: The American Diabete's Association is preferred, in lieu of 
flowers.
