She was 52 years old. Debbie was the beloved wife of Joseph Barry Gioe and mother of Tyler Joseph Gioe and the late Devin Joseph Gioe. She is the daughter of the late Stanley J. Favalora Sr. and Beverly Daspit Mangiaracina and step daughter of Greg Mangiaracina. Sister of Beverly Favalora, Elaine Favalora, Stanley J. Favalora, Jr.(Patricia), Paul Favalora, Dominic Favalora, Julie Williams (John), Greg Mangiaracina (Lynn), Sharon Mangiaracina and Michael Mangiaracina (Shelly). Daughter-in-law of Joseph C and Joyce D. Gioe. Sister-in- law of Lori Gioe Cauthen (Randy) and Harry Gioe (Connie). She was the aunt of 7 nieces, 14 nephews, 3 great nephews and 3 great nieces. Debbie grew up in Kenner and was a resident of Slidell for the past 8 years. Debbie was the proud owner of La Dolce Vita Boutique in Slidell. She had no greater joy than being with friends and her family. Debbie was the most compassionate person who touched every person she came in contact with. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell from 11:30 to 1:30 A funeral mass will begin at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Road, New Orleans, LA 70121, in honor of Debbie. ===================
