GEORGE RALPH GOWLAND, of Slidell, LA passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

Beloved Husband of Rose Aiola Braquet Gowland.
Father of Linda Ann Beaucoudray(Ferg). Step father of Eddie, Joey Braquet, Susie 
Miller and the late David Braquet
Son of the late Francis and Kirby Gowland, Sr.
Brother of Kirby Gowland, Jr., and Jeannie Wilson.
Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Ellen and Will Beaucoudray, 2 step 
grandchildren, Christopher Miller and D.J. Braquet and several nieces and 
nephews.

Age 69 years.

A native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of Chalmette and a resident of 
Slidell since Hurricane Katrina.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 5:00 P.M.

Visitation on Friday after 1:00 P.M. until funeral time.

Donations to the any Veterans Group, preferred, in lieu of flowers
