Holmes K. Harrison passed away at his home on July 28, 2011 from pancreatic 
cancer.

Beloved husband of Jan Egle Harrison. Loving father of Robert J. Harrison (and 
wife Starr) and Neal A. Harrison. Son of the late Muriel Arnaud Harrison and 
Robert Holmes Harrison. Brother of Nancy Cardwell and John Harrison.

He will be remembered above all for his 30 years of helping others through his 
work as a Social Worker and Psychotherapist. He was also active in his local 
Catholic Church and committed to the Cursillo movement of the Archdiocese of New 
Orleans.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic 
Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday August 1st at 11:00 AM. 
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 31st at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 
W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and at the Church 
on August 1st from 10:00 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Harrison be 
made to St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, Covington, LA 70457 or St. Vincent 
de Paul Conference of St. Peter Parish, 125 E. 19th Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
