JOHNSON, MARY 
(November 24, 1919 - July 22, 2011)

Mary Elizabeth Johnson, age 91, of Pascagoula passed away peaceful on Friday, 
July 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. 

She was a long time resident of Pascagoula since 1966 and member of First 
Pentecostal Church in Pascagoula. 

Mary devoted her life to God and her family. For the past four years, her son 
Randy was able to give back to her the love and care she taught him.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Cecil C. Johnson; 
parents, John Henry Weldon and Minerva Weldon; six brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her three daughters and three sons, Betty Pedigo, Baton 
Rouge, LA; Barbara McKeithen, (Bob), Baton Rouge, LA;Sandra Sanford (Eric), 
Slidell, LA; William "Bill" Johnson, Baton Rouge; Richard Johnson (Fran, 
)Jasper, AL Randall "Randy" Johnson, Pascagoula; former daughter-in-law, Sheila 
Day (Don), Central, LA; twelve grandchildren, Merle Pedigo, Kim Blake, Lisa 
Dupre, Tanya Berthelot, Dustin Johnson, Tina Guidry, Rachel Carden, Wendy 
Chandler, Jason Johnson, Neil Smith, Angie Smith, and Amanda Borries; 12 great-
grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
