Richard James Knight passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the age of 73. 

A native of Bogalusa and a resident of Covington, LA. 

Beloved husband of Sarah Hughes Knight. Loving father of Rose "Robin" Knight, 
Clint Knight and the late Richard "Dusty" Knight and Leonard "Scott" Knight. Son 
of the late Doris "Dottie" Tisdale and James "JD" Knight. Brother of Mary 
"Susie" Knight, Robert "Buddy" Knight, Vergie Toney, Alice "Tiny" Parish and the 
late August Knight and Leonard Knight. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 
many great grandchildren. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Tammany 
Parish Hospital O.R.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the chapel 
of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road (Hwy. 437), Covington, LA 70435 on 
Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 12:00 pm. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time. 
Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery.
