Cynthia Cooper Phelps passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at age 60.

Beloved wife of Curtis R. Phelps. Loving mother of Deanna Phelps Rider, Michelle 
Phelps Gill, Douglas Phelps, Gregory Phelps and Vanessa Phelps. Daughter of the 
late Cleo and Jewell Cooper. Sister of Carlos Cooper, Carolyn Cooper Cole, 
Thomas Cooper, Randy Cooper, David Cooper and the late Jewell Cooper, Jr. and 
Gary Cooper. Grandmother of Crystal and Josie Rider, Ainsley and Layne Gill, 
Jewell Phelps, Peyton and Hailie Phelps and Jacey Phelps.

She was a lifelong resident of and Madisonville town clerk for 25 years. Cyndi 
was a high spirited individual whose passions were family, faith and loved her 
community.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass at St. Anselm Catholic 
Church, 306 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on Tuesday, July 19, 2011at 
11:00 AM with visitation at church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Phelps be 
made to the St. Anselm Building Fund.
