The beloved husband of Marie Bourgeois Rome, he was the father of Ludger J. Rome, IV, Winnie Marie Johnson and the late Bryan Joseph Rome and brother of Ronald, Clarence, Claude Rome, Hazel Trosclair, Thelma Abedie, Theresa Hebert, the late Erline Berthalot, Lovency, Louie, Harold and Lester Rome. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.. He was a native of Plaquemine, and a resident of St. Tammany Parish since 1962. He was a retired master sergeant In the U.S. Air Force, serving with SAC Command and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He was also a former employee of Boeing/Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin at Michaud Assembly Plant. Private services were held. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Donations to any veterans group are preferred, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell. ===================
