PAUL GERARD VAN HOOSE, 40, of Slidell, LA on Saturday, July 16, 2011.

Beloved Husband of Sherri Boyd Van Hoose;
Father of Holden Brice Van Hoose, and Garris Paul Van Hoose; Son of Leigh Van 
Hoose (wife Sue) and Sharyn Greer;
Brother of Kristy Van Hoose; Step-brother of Christina Tingler; Grandson of 
Madeline Gardner; 

A native and lifelong resident of Slidell, Paul was a graduate of UNO and 
received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. He worked for State Farm 
Insurance for many years and was an attorney for a law firm in New Orleans. He 
enjoyed golfing and coaching baseball with his sons at SBBA. 
He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Slidell and a former member 
of First Baptist Church of Slidell. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm 
at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell.

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Slidell, 4141 
Pontchartrain Drive in Slidell, on Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11:00am. Friends 
may visit at the church on Friday beginning at 10:00am. 
Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
