On Tuesday, August 23, 2011 Ethel Beier joined her loving husband Frank in 
heaven. 

They resided in Metairie until moving to Covington after Hurricane Katrina. 

She was a devoted mother of Frank L. Beier, Jr. (Lieselotte), Eric Beier 
(Sharon), and Karl Beier (Judy) and doting grandmother of Frank III, Hans, 
Heinrich, Shayne, Karli and Kory Beier, and Elizabeth Beier Fisackerly, and 
great grandmother to 6. Born Ethel Dannemann in New Orleans in 1920, she was a 
sister to the late Ruby Grandel, Thelma Tabary, Edith Lacour, Edward, Claude 
and Herbert Dannemann.

Married for over 70 years, Ethel and Frank were always together. They worked 
side by side at their business, Frank L. Beier Radio, Inc. They loved to travel 
together and with their grandchildren. Ethel and Frank held countless 
gatherings at their summer home in Waveland, on their boat the ÒRebelÓ, and at 
their home in Metairie. They will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved 
them as well as their dachshund, Nattie.

Private funeral services will be held by the family.
