Bill Michael Brandt , 72 years old, of Tickfaw, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 
2011. 

He was born on Friday, Aug. 18, 1939, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late 
Lorenz and Laura Blake Brandt .
Mr. Brandt served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam.
He also retired after many years of installing security alarm systems.

Surviving are his beloved spouse, Cathy Colbert; two daughters Christy 
Maniscalco and Lori Brandt; his son Bill Brandt Jr.; nine grandchildren Lindsay 
Stacklin Balicheski, Bruce Jr. and Lauren Stacklin, Macy, and Christopher and 
Austin Maniscalco, Parish, Paxton and Payton Brandt; one great-grandchild, 
Baylah Balicheski and sister, Dana Brandt.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather Vincent Wich and sister Laura Gore.

Friends will be received Saturday August 26, 2011 from 5 p.m. until services 
that begin at 6 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
