DORIS CARTWRIGHT BRIDGES, of Slidell, LA, crossed over on Saturday, August 20, 
2011, in Slidell.

Beloved wife of the late Doyle Bridges.
Mother of Jeanne McDougal (Mike), Wayne Evans (Debbie), Ron Evans (Sonia, 
deceased) and Ann Evans Wood (Rock).
Daughter of the late Asberry and Minnie Cartwright.
Also survived by 8 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Preceded in 
death by a grandson, Jerry McDougal.

Doris was born in Simpson County, MS, was a longtime resident of Chalmette and 
a resident of Slidell for the past 6? years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral 
Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9:00am. 
Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
