JOANNE DIXON BRISTER, 56, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, August 29, 
2011.

Beloved Wife of Gary A. Brister;
Mother of Rachel Brister Rath (Brad), and Mindy Brister Lugo (Andrew);
Daughter of Louise Stokes Dixon and the late Stanley Dixon;
Sister of Dennis Dixon (Sandy), Richard Dixon (Dale), and Sandra Michelle 
Dixon; Also survived by one granddaughter, Marlie Kate Rath.

A native of Bogalusa, and a lifelong resident of Slidell.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral 
Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST 
LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
