Beloved husband of Denise Tymkiw deAlminana for the past 28 years. Father of Ryan deAlminana, Matthew deAlminana and Andrew deAlminana. And faithful companion to the four legged ruler of the house, Oreo. Son of the late Elsie Cancienne Casebonne and also welcomed lovingly by his aunt Melrose Kathmann and his late uncles, Bernard "Pete" Kathmann and Donald J. Conners; his late aunt, Gloria Bringold and many other family members and friends. Son-in-law of Mildred A. Tymkiw and the late Harry J. Tymkiw. Brother of the late Alva "Tootie" deAlminana. Brother-in-law of Dennis Tymkiw (Cissy) and Douglas Tymkiw (Michele). Also survived by 2 grandchildren; Drake and Demi deAlminana and 3 nieces and nephews; Alexis, Nicholas and Michael Tymkiw. Age 61 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA since 1983. Mr. deAlminana was a retired Postal Clerk for the US Postal Service. He received a Purple Heart while serving in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Assoc. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm.
