Born in New Orleans, he was the son of Charles Swarez Ducote and Melba Scordill Ducote. Charles was battling cancer. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jane Hammond Ducote; son Bob Ducote and wife Kim, daughter Michelle Ducote Vyles, and grandchildren Ryan, Katie, Meridith, Nicholas, Conner, William and Deirdre of Plano, Texas. He is also survived by his mother, Melba Ducote Henderlick of Slidell, and cousins Patricia Altobello Corona, Sandra Altobello Lucas, Gus Altobello, Jr., John Scordill, III and their families. Charles attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans, class of 1959. He was past president of Dallas Fly Fishers and was a talented fly-tier and an avid outdoorsman. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Visitation is at 3 p.m. Saturday prior to services. ===================
