Helen L.Hartley was called home by the Lord Thursday Aug. 18, 2011. 

She leaves behind a loving brother Leroy Peters Jr.; a sister-in-law Mildred 
Coope;, six sons; eight daughters; 43 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren, 
and five great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Hartley and her parents Leroy 
and Golean Peters.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Mount Olive A.M.E Church, 2457 
Second St., Slidell. Visitation will be from 9 Ð 11 a.m.
