HOLLEY

Louis F. Holley, 70, of Slidell, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Slidell 
Memorial Hospital. 

He was the beloved husband of Maria A. Holley; father of Steven L. Holley of 
Slidell, Christine H. Gruber (Patrick) of Missouri City, Texas, and Kathleen M. 
Johnson of Hendersonville, Tenn., and son of the late Peter E. and Ellen B. 
Holley. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Joey M. and Jacob A. 
Johnson, Nicole H. and Nathan P. Gruber, and numerous other relatives and 
friends.

He was a native of New Orleans and a former longtime resident of Kenner, Mr. 
Holley served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired labor relations 
officer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Roch Cemetery No. 2 in New 
Orleans.
