FRANCES JEAN COLE JACKSON, age 76, of Slidell, Louisiana, departed this life on 
August 26, 2011. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Jackson; her parents, 
Seldon and Grace Cole; and her brother, Billy Cole. 

She is survived by her sisters Brandy Gilliland (Mike), Helen Townsend (Don), 
Bonnie Hawkins; and brother, Fred S. Cole (Kit); her devoted children: Terrie 
Mathison (Tim), Fred M. Jackson (Lauren), Kyle Randy Jackson(Linda), Ronald 
Grayson Jackson(Collen),Martin Kelly Jackson (Robyn); her beautiful 
grandchildren: Clinton, Colin, Grayson, Jamie, Ethan, Kyla, Terrie, Morgan, 
Kellie, Cole, and Nathan. 

A native of Hope Mills, North Carolina, and a proud resident of Slidell, 
Louisiana for the past 37 years, Mrs. Jackson devoted her life to her husband, 
children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. 

The family is grateful to all the wonderfull doctors, nurses, and staff of 
Slidell Memorial Hospital who lovingly cared for her, especially Dr. Ignatius 
Thomas and Dr. Robert Shafor. 

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend the funeral services at HONAKER 
FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on 
Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00am.

Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
