George E. Lorio Jr., ÒPopsyÓ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 
at the age of 62.

Beloved husband of Kathleen S. Lorio, loving father of George Brandon and 
Lindsay Jo Lorio, son of the late Sarah and George E. Lorio, brother of 
Georgene Lorio (Don) Manzella and Edward (Lana) Lorio, son-in-law to Dorothy 
Sierveld and the late Leonard Sierveld, brother-in-law of Rick (Mary Alice) 
Sierveld.

George was always fun to be around. He was a loving husband, son, father, 
brother, and friend to all. George retired from Shell Oil Refinery, Norco, and 
later worked at RouseÕs Grocery Store in Mandeville for 5 years.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 
2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 12:00 
noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude ChildrenÕs Research Hospital, Memphis 
TN, or the National Rifle Association in GeorgeÕs memory.
