H. Doyle Magee, Jr. passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Tulane Medical 
Center in New Orleans, LA after suffering a stroke. 

He was a native of Hammond, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 25 
years. 
Doyle was born Feb. 19, 1952 to the late Henry Doyle Magee and Verna Scanlan 
Magee of Hammond, LA. 

He was the husband of the late Carolyn Edwards Magee, the father of H. Doyle 
Magee, lll of Mandeville, LA, and the late Marc Christian Magee, the step-
father of Wendy Gough (Matt) of St. Petersburg, Fl, and the brother of Sue M. 
Bollin (Bob) of Hammond, LA. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Smith (Donald) of Munich, 
Germany, Kathleen Griffith (Chuck) of Central City, Nebraska and Colleen Lacox 
(Gary) of Diboll, Texas. He was the step grandfather of Maxwell and Molly Gough 
and a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited the attend the funeral on 
Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 2:30 pm from the chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA. 
Pastor Raymond Scheer will be officiating. 
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time. 
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond, LA
