MOWEN, G. LADENE CASEMORE 
(December 21, 1916 - August 20, 2011)

G. LaDene Casemore Mowen passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011. 

A long time resident of New Orleans before moving to the Northshore in 1984, 
LaDene was born December 21, 1916 in Kansas City, KS to the late Charles G. and 
Loretta Fay Floyd Casemore.

The beloved wife of the late Charles M. Mowen, Sr., she is survived by two 
daughters, Judy M. Brooks (Mike) and Peggy J. Mowen; two sons, Charles M., Jr. 
(Rita) and Winky J. Mowen (Diana); five grandchildren and eight great 
grandchildren. She is also survived by a dear extended family, Angie Dudley, 
Elizabeth Penter, Randye Watson and Nancy Arbuthnot. She was preceded in death 
by her brother, Virgil Casemore; two sisters, Bonnie C. Jung and Peggy C. 
Wilhelm.

A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 4-
8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
