SCHLEISMANN, BERTRAND F. 
(April 19, 1924 - August 14, 2011)

Bertrand F. Schleismann passed away on Sunday, August 14 , 2011 at age 87.

Beloved husband of the late Gloria Beninato Schleismann. Loving father of 
Daniel Schleismann, Greg Schleismann ( wife, Ann), Philip Schelismann, Sr. 
(wife, Myra), Donna Schleismann (husband, Gary) and Annie Schleismann Gonzales 
(husband, Merlin). Grandfather of Eric (Kelly), Kevin, Philip, Jr., Myra, Alexa 
(Curtis), Katie, Kayla and Andrew. Great-grandfather of Keely and Alana. Son of 
the late Agnes and Philip Schleismann. Also survived by one brother, Irwin 
Schleismann and lifelong friend J.J. Witmeyer.

Mr. Schleismann was a WW II United States Army Veteran and received the Purple 
Heart, Bronze Star and Soldiers Medal.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral 
Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, August 18, 2011at 
2:00 PM with visitation on Thursday from 12:00 noon until Mass time.

Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery.
