Beloved wife of Abraham ÒAbeÓ Schouest; loving mother of Eric A. Schouest (Michelle V.) and Stephanie Schouest Vathy (Jerry); grandmother of Eric M. Schouest, Lauren Schouest, Ryan Vathy and Reid Vathy; and sister of Arnold LeBlanc (Beverly) and Jane LeBlanc Giardina (Joe). She was also survived by a host of other family members who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her father, Gus LeBlanc; and her mother, Edith St. Amand LeBlanc. Age 70 years old, a native of Belle Rose, LA and was a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 8 years, formerly of Gretna, LA. A Registered Nurse, she was a member of the Charity Nursing School Graduating Class of 1961. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 12:00 Noon and continue until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Bizette and his staff, as well as the staff of St. JosephÕs Hospice for their care and compassion. ===================
