Robert Dale Sibley, 62, a native of Bogalusa and resident of Slidell, passed 
away Aug. 7, 2011. 

Born Nov. 3, 1948, he was a realtor for Keller Williams of Slidell.

He is survived by wife, Suzi Hayden Sibley of Slidell; son, John Hayden Sibley 
of New Orleans; daughter, Lana Sibley Leonard and husband Daniel Leonard and 
grandaughter, Elizabeth Grace Leonard, all of Houston, Texas.

He is also survived by one brother Jambes Sibley of Slidell, and four sisters, 
Betty Ann Powell of Helena, Ark., Carolyn Seidel of Winston-Salem, N.C., Peggy 
King of Sun and Gayle Fournet of Slidell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JW.. and Eva Sibley

He was actively involved in the National Rifle Association, the First United 
Methodist Church of Slidell and Honey Island Shooting Range.

Vistiation will be from 5 Ð 9 p.m. today at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home, 
Bogalusa, and continue on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 
a.m., with the Rev. Philip Stagg officiating.

Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens 

A memorial fund has been established to benefit the Friends of the NRA.
Donations can be made at any Hancock Bank.
