Simmons, age 54 of Carriere, Miss., passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011 in Hattiesburg, Miss. A native of Chalmette and Carriere, she was a teacher at Pearl River Central School and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Marguerite loved being with children, teaching, driving, and raising children. She volunteered for church functions. She enjoyed having girlÕs night out and being pampered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Simmons. She is survived by her parents, William M. Bouchereau and Dolores Henning Bouchereau; her children, Troy Simmons, Danielle Bond, Allen Harris, Mark Harris, Crystal Harris, Deborah Simmons; eight grandchildren; her brother, William ÒWillieÓ Bouchereau Jr., and her sisters, Linda Dieudonne-Kline and Dawn B. Elrod. Funeral services will be held at noon today in Hillcrest Baptist Church, 438 Anchor Lake Rd, Carriere, Miss. Burial will be in LeeÕs Chapel No. 1 Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Neary will officiate at the service. ===================
