Dawn Marie Benitez passed from this life Aug. 11, 2011, in Bogalusa at the age 
of 40. 

She was the loving companion for 24 years of James Edward Brooks; mother of 
Heather Nicole Brooks and Lee Anthony Benitez; daughter of Scott and Karen 
Hebert and sister of Albert J. Benitez, Jr., Hope L. Gabriel and Edward W. 
Lydell.

Funeral services were held Aug. 18 at Serenity Funeral Home, Covington. 
Interment immediately was in Ponemah Cemetery, Bogalusa.
