The beloved wife of the late John W. Conravey, Jr., she was the mother of Steve E. Conravey (Carolyn) and the late John W. ÒSonnyÓ Conravey, III; daughter of the late John E. Dwyer, Jr. and Josephine Welp Dwyer; stepdaughter of the late Francis ÒWhiteyÓ Peredne and sister of the late John E. Dwyer, III. She was also survived by three grandchildren, Catlin, Megan and Douglas Conravey and 10 nieces and nephews. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Pearl River since 1976. ÒMiss LoisÓ was a lover and breeder of racehorses and a passionate caregiver to anyone in need especially through her love of cooking. A celebration of her life will be held at her home Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. Donations to The Pearl River Lions Club, PO Box 71, Pearl River, LA 70452 are preferred, in lieu of flowers. ===================
