Nelson James Curtis, Sr., on Thursday, September 8, 2011.

Beloved husband of the late Gloria McDonald Curtis. Father of Judith Ann 
Curtis, Nelson James Curtis, Jr., Rodney Michael Curtis, Daniel Joseph Curtis 
and Suzanne Curtis Sumpter. Brother of Janet Curtis Stootz. Also survived by 11 
grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Aged 87 years.

A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA for the past 50 
years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass on 
Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 
2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Monday from 10:00 AM 
until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
