Patricia Grant Hillery, 80, of Slidell, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 at 
the Slidell Guest House. 

The beloved wife of Charles Hillery ÒBrother Mickey,Ó she was the mother of 
Charles S. Hillery, Jr., Carrie Hillery Vargo and the late Julie Hillery and 
daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle OÕNeill Grant. She is also survived by 
six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell since 1985. Mrs. 
Hillery was a member of Riverside Baptist Church where she was active in the 
choir and in the ChildrenÕs Outreach. The family would like to extend their 
sincere gratitude to all their friends for the many prayers and concerns 
extended to them.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Riverside Baptist Church, 115 Brett Dr., Slidell, 
(corner of Brett and John). Visitation will be from 9 Ð 11 a.m. at church. 
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond.

Donations can be sent to the Community Christian Concern of Slidell or the 
First Baptist Church/ Pantry is preferred, in lieu of flowers.
