RUBY PENNISON LASSERE, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 
after fighting a courageous battle with numerous medical issues over the past 2 
years.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Lassere for 63 years.
Mother of Brenda Hopkins (Thomas), Bruce Lassere (Myra), Melvin Lassere 
(Sissie) and Richard Lassere (Elizabeth).
Sister of Harris Pennison and the late E.J. Pennison.
Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Age 87, a native of Patterson, LA and a resident of Slidell for the past 8 
years. 

Mrs. Lassere was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and throughout her life 
was a very charitable person.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral mass will 
follow at 12:00pm. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Please visit
