Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia Schulz Schultz; his children, Deborah Hotard (Howard), Donna Owens (David), William Schultz, Jr. (Tina Gouzien), and Michael Schultz; grandchildren, Anna, Allison, Jordan, Mary, Christopher and Trey, and brother of Clarence Schultz, Jr. and Doris Rodi. He was the son of the late May Oalmann and Clarence Schultz. He was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for 7 years. He retired after 32 years from Saia Motor Freight. Bill will be sadly missed by his family and friends. His kind helping ways and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Lakeshore Hospice team of Barbara, Lisette, Kendra, and Laura and our close family friend, Pamela Latour, for their care and support given to Bill and his family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.. Interment will be private. Donations to The St. Genevieve Catholic Church Capital Campaign fund, 58203 Hwy. 433, Slidell, LA 70460 in memory of Bill Schultz, Sr., are preferred in lieu of flowers.
