Freddie Butler passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at age 78.

Beloved husband of Lillie Williams Butler. Loving father of Germaine Cherylyn 
Butler, Florence Daphne Butler and Frederic William Butler. Son of the late 
Hilda and Elijah Butler. Brother of the late Elroy Smith. Grandfather of 
Jennifer Elizabeth Butler, Christine Lily Butler and Matthew Edward Weeden. 
Great-grandfather of Caleb Clarence Sims.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Madisonville. He was a U.S. Army 
veteran of the Korean War.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, October 8, 
2011 at 10:00 AM with visitation on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Butler be 
made to the Historic St. James Baptist Church Building Fund.
