GALATAS

Joseph Larry Galatas, 55, of Slidell, passed away Oct. 7, 2011. 

He was a construction worker and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. 

He is survived by his wife Margaret Galatas of Slidell; three daughters, 
Shontel Johnson, Kawana Miller and Laura Miller, sister Sandy Galatas of 
Slidell, two brothers, Arnold Galatas of Slidell and Michael Galatas of 
Lacombe; mother Doris Galatas of Slidell; 22 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by Joseph John Galatas and Colenn Galates.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the funeral services at 11 
a.m. Saturday Oct. 15, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lacombe with the 
Rev. Kyle officiating. Visitation will be from 9 – 11 a.m. 
Interment will be in Dubuisson Cemetery in Lacombe.

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany is in charge of arrangements.
