WILFRED “WILLIE” GALATAS, 73, of Bayou Liberty, LA, passed away on Tuesday, 
October 4, 2011.

Beloved Husband of Venora Maurer Galatas;
Father of Joseph Galatas (wife Angela), Troy Galatas (wife Katie), Darren 
Galatas (wife Katherine), and Jason Galatas (wife Tana);
Son of the late Joseph and Carmen Galatas;
Brother of Valerie Penton, Emelie Pittman, and the late Norma Doyle, and 
Benjamin Galatas; Also survived by five grandchildren: Andrew Galatas, Emile 
Galatas, Alexander Galatas, Aimee Galatas, and Cassard Galatas.

A native and lifelong resident of Bayou Liberty.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A 
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Genevieve Catholic Church on Saturday, October 
8, 2011, at 11:00am. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday beginning at 
9:30am. 

In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to ones favorite charity.
