Hatley was born March 5, 1932 in Williams, Okla. and passed away at age 79. He was a devoted husband to Mary Rogers Hatley for 57 years, and father of five, Marie H. Williams, Kenneth R. Hatley, Roy M. Hatley (deceased), Jay W. Hatley, and Patricia H. Ferguson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren on the way; two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Morris had worked for LPL for 5 years, CLECO for 27 years, WST for 7 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran. After his family, he greatly enjoyed quail hunting and his hunting dogs. He never met a stranger and had many friends from all over the country. He was the kindest and most giving father and friend. Funeral services were held Monday at the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River. Interment was in Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pearl River. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or St. Catherine’s Hospice. ===================
