John Michael Howell passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at age 53.

Son of the late Mary Jane Ryan Howell and Marion Biddle Howell.
Proud Father of three sons and daughter-in-laws, Chris and Stephanie Howell, 
Jason and Ashley Howell, Weston Howell and Jennifer Tresvik.
Grandfather of three beautiful Grand Children, Easton Howell, Savannah Howell 
and Kade Howell.
Also survived by the mother of his children and grandchildren, Sheryl CoCo 
Howell Jacknis.

He was the youngest of five children, brother of Elizabeth Higginbotham, 
Patricia Ostrem, William Howell, and the late Sylvia Howell

Mike was born in Pensacola, Florida, and resident of Covington, Louisiana for 
the past 31 years. He was founder and CEO of a successful insurance company. He 
was well known for being an innovator and creator of new products and services 
for the Automotive and Insurance Industry.

Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial services at E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, October 
26, 2011 visitation will be held from 2:00pm-5:00pm with a memorial service 
beginning at 5:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Howell 
should be made to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
