Katherine “Katie” Bourgeois Scheib passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 
age 73.

Born August 9, 1938. Beloved wife of Joseph Gilbert “Jack” Scheib, Jr. for 52 
years. Loving mother of Gretchen Scheib Grace (husband Tommy), Julie A. Scheib, 
Joseph G. “Jay” Scheib III (wife Sharon) and Mark E. Scheib. Daughter of the 
late Mildred Ingle Bourgeois and Edward Bourgeois. Grandmother of Allison 
Davis, Casey Scheib, Gillian Grace and Katherine Grace. Great-grandmother of 
Michael Hayes Davis. Sister of Dotty Trinchard, Edward Bourgeois Jr., Jack 
Bourgeois and Elmer Bourgeois.

She will be forever remembered as her grandchildrens’ fun and loving Me-Me.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at St. Anselm Catholic 
Church, 306 Saint Mary St., Madisonville, La, 70447 on Monday, October 24, 2011 
from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM immediately followed by a mass.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, 
Covington, LA 70435.
