Taylor L.”Johnny” Sharai, age 79 years, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011. 

The beloved husband of 59 years to Phyllis Liuzza Sharai, he was the father of 
John Ed Sharai, Sr., Matthew T. Sharai and the late Mark L. Sharai; grandfather 
of John Ed Sharai, Jr. (Allison), Brigitte M. Sharai, and the late Pierce 
Taylor Sharai. He is also survived by a granddaughter and a great-grandson. 

He was the son of the late Frank Spencer Sharai and Thelma Hopper Jaubert; 
stepson of Emelda Sharai and stepbrother of Stephen T. Sharai (Danielle). 

Mr. Sharai was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the 
Korean Conflict. He was a resident of Covington, for the past 28 years; and was 
a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Covington. 
Mr. Sharai was the owner of Taylor Services.

A special Thank You to Hospice Compassus and the infusion nurses at Ochsner 
Northshore. 

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Rita Catholic Church, 
7118 Jefferson Hwy., Harahan. 

Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Compassus (www.hospicecompassus.com) 
in Mr. Sharai’s name are preferred. 

Arrangements are by Bagnell & Son Funeral Home of Covington.
