Wehrman, USAF Ret., passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Josephine Crowe Wehrman. Father of Teresa Knight (Michael), Keni Dillon and Edward Wehrman (Diane). Grandfather of Sidney and Patrick Knight, Dean, Kenneth and Jessie Jo Dillon, Phoebe, Samatha and Olivia Wehrman. Son of the late Edward and Cecilia Wehrman. Brother of the late Willis Wehrman and Lucille Knoedel. Age 89 years. A native of Keystone, IA and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 7 years. He was twice Wing Commander (SAC) and retired as Deputy Chief of Staff- Operations HQ, Second Air Force. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. His remains will then be forwarded to Kyger Funeral Home, 3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801 with visitation on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Keezletown Methodist Church, 1592 Indian Trail Rd., Keezletown, VA 22832.
